Clearly, luxurious, energy-efficient Custom Clad® windows are your best window buy because they're virtually maintenence free. Unlike wood or aluminum, vinyl won't pit, rot, or corrode. In fact, since vinyl is impervious to the elements, it never needs painting or finishing. A simple soap and water solution is all that's needed for occasional cleaning. All window hardware is maintenence free as well, and backed by a lifetime warranty. With most natural stained wood finishes, occasional wiping with lemon oil or furniture polish is sufficient to prolong the wood for many years.

For easy exterior glass cleaning, all operable sashes open a minimum of 90 degrees which allows for easy cleaning from inside the home.	Sturdy Custom Clad® hardwood muntins may be easily removed without tools. Once interior glass surface has been cleaned, muntin simply snaps back into place.
